Basic B Green Smoothie

Generally speaking, a lot of the green smoothies you see online are the same. This is my go-to!! I’ve been having this smoothie nearly every morning for a year now. There are so many benefits to incorporating a green smoothie every day into your morning routine. First and foremost: Digestive Health (!!!) The insoluble fiber in leafy greens helps food to pass through your digestive system, reducing issues like diarrhea, constipation and bloating. It can also improve bone strength, immunity support, lower the risk of chronic disease, and lower cholesterol.

Ingredients:

  • 1 big handful of spinach

  • 250ml of filtered water

  • 1 full baby cucumber (or 1/4 of large cucumber)

  • 1/2 tbsp of spirulina powder

  • ginger (you can use fresh or powdered - powdered is cheaper!!)

  • cinnamon

  • 1 date

  • 1/4 c of frozen mango or frozen pineapple

  • 1/2 banana (fresh or frozen)

How - to:

  1. Blend all ingredients!!

  2. Sometimes I top with extra cinnamon or bee pollen on top.

  3. Enjoy.
